The Bull Inn has been a public house since the early 19th century with many landlords over the years. Locals Debbie & Paul Stanley took over the management of the pub in November 2013.
They are passionate about making The Bull Inn appeal to locals and visitors alike by offering everyone a warm & friendly welcome and ensuring high standards of customer service are delivered across all aspects of the business. Since taking on the pub, they have re-opened 3 real log fires making it warm and cosy in the winter and created an enclosed courtyard garden with children’s play structure.
Regular live music and charitable fund raising events take place throughout the year in addition to catering for any bespoke function or event.
The Bull Inn kitchen
The Bull Inn has a small kitchen team who work hard to produce good quality pub food and are proud to serve only freshly cooked food.
We use the freshest ingredients available to us and cook everything to order. This can sometimes result in a little wait but believe our customers prefer this knowing their food is fresh and not pre-packed.
Our bar menu offers pub classics from fish & chips – using our own freshly made beer batter, our very popular hand made Bull Burger, steak & ale pie topped with puff pastry and of course a good steak meal.
We cater for a variety of occasions and can provide a buffet or 3 course meal as required by the customer.
We use the freshest and highest quality ingredients available to us, using local butchers Joseph Morris for our meat. Fresh fruit & vegetables are also sourced using a local supplier. Our desserts are home made and according to customer feedback are absolutely scrumptious! All food is cooked to order so do appreciate your patience as some dishes may take a little while to prepare.
Many customers have also commented on how good our selection of wines are, being supplied by SH Jones of Banbury and covering a wide range of suppliers from across the globe.
